✱ Hideaway Making Art Matters
Welcome to the next chapter of Forgo.
In this new issue, we enter the swamp—a vast, unfamiliar place where the land itself feels alive. This is the domain of ancient, druid-like beings, creatures bound to the earth and driven by a singular purpose: the erasure of Gus’s clan from the world.
Gus was never meant to survive the Hunt.
Chosen as a human sacrifice in a brutal ritual his clan uses to draw upon dark magic, Gus took part in the Hunt believing it would end in death. In the previous issue, he fell from a cliff and vanished below, presumed lost.
But Gus did not die.
Pulled from the brink by a mysterious presence, Gus awakens deep within the swamp—wounded, disoriented, and far from the Hunt that still rages above. Whether his rescuer is ally, enemy, or something far older remains unknown.
Now trapped in the very land ruled by his clan’s greatest enemies, Gus must survive while hiding the truth of who he is. If the creatures of the swamp learn where he comes from, survival will no longer be an option.
